John Rich grew up in Canada and emigrated to Australia in 1979. He earned a BSc (Hons) in geology from the University of Western Ontario in 1971 and a PhD in hydrology from Murdoch University (Perth, Australia) in 2004.
John has worked predominantly as an exploration geologist throughout Canada and Australia and has also spent three winters in Antarctica managing research stations for the Australian Antarctic Division. This website provides online access to John's PhD research at Perry Lakes.
